Regarding apps: while it's a good idea to use the available technology for this purpose, one should also consider that patients with acquired brain injury are also often more vulnerable to procrastination and behavioral addictions (including problematic overuse of the internet) due to that exact decreased cognive control. After acquired brain injury, I'm an extremely compulsive and impulsive internet user for example.
