Traumatic brain injuries being induced by providers for decades. Electroshock or ECT is being performed at many leading facilities and for multiple reasons now. It is no longer a last resort. Traumatic brain injury outcomes have now been proven in the CA courts and is tied to the untested devices used. The suit is now national. Patients are showing damages on neuro/cog testing, EEG, MRI, SPECT, PET, VNG etc. We have medical notes by leading TBI professional stating damages to a patients frontal lobes, cerebellum, and brain stem as a direct result of this procedure. This is purely electrical trauma which can evolve over years in damages to include CTE and ALS. Billions involved annually in US alone. Cover ups of decades coming to light.
Coup and countercoup needs to be updated with "centricoup". Shaken-baby injuries cause death without even striking the head. My brain injuries came from a rear impact of contracoup to coup motion, but the worst came from the impact motion to the center with white matter damage and Dandy-Walker like injuries, and a csf leak on my brainstem's 4th ventricle. A cyst is also forming there, and my brain is shrinking. I am doing well to still be alive, and my seizures and vertigo keep morphing as well.My respiratory system uncontrollably quits working several times per day with involuntary resuscitations, and my heart rate and b.p. increased immediately after my tbi in February of 2018 and stayed about 30% higher than normal. My old b.p. medication no longer works as my brainstem apparently adjusts my metabolism higher in response to it's effects. Life is so hard with this, and the initial "concussion" diagnosis by primary medical people has ruined my disability case and my legal efforts for compensation as well from the at-fault driver and my own underinsured motorist insurance. To top it all off, brain injury severity is determined by insurance lobbyist activity and the MTBI (mild traumatic brain injury) Committee of the NFL who solicited the FBI to thwart neuropathological autopsies in Allegheny County Pennsylvania.
A Frontline documentary called "League of Denial" and a docudrama named "Concussion" shows what brain inuury victims and survivors are really up against.
I have multiple neurosurgeon referrals with nobody contacting me.
Brain injuries are BELITTLED and neglected in America !
Not so deeper. I thought he would address more about mild traumatic brain injuries that can trigger aphasia and other sequels. I also hoped that he would talk about gliosis and encephalomalacia, themes that are covered with some uncertainty by medical manuals.
