Tara boy you nailed it on this video itim finally getting Botox treatment for my spasticity also I want to note there is definitely the foot drop feeling along with calf spasticity causing supination to clearing the foot since it's not flat as you swing the foot leg through trying to do more of a natural gait

I saw another physio on YT, and he's advice was, for safety, to never cross your legs. To turn, transfer weight to outside leg, then lift and turn the inside foot to the turn direction, transfer weight to the turned leg, and lift the outside foot to be parallel to the inside one, bringing your body around.

where do you get the blue strap

I practiced walking turns by holding on to a sturdy exercise bike. Leaning on the affected leg, I slowly increased the angle of turn with the unaffected leg. It is important to train the movements well so that we can do them safely. A good opportunity for this exercise, as well as balance and coordination, is putting dishes in and out of the washing machine. Have a nice week

Great video. It took me months to be able to stand up without holding on. Working the core and doing side step walking are good for balance. I also kick a ball or do toe taps with my unaffected side to help with balance. I tried something last night that I wanted to share. I used a message gun on my calf muscle on my unaffected leg and it made my foot go up on it's own, I tried it on my affected side, I felt the foot trying to go up but the spasticity and tightness makes it difficult. This made me realize that the calf muscle controls the foot. I think stretching the calf and massaging it can help reduce the tightness and spasticity. and get the toes and foot moving. It's just a theory. This may be something you can discuss with your doctor or therapist. I will keep trying it and provide updates. Take care.
