Video explains neuronal cytoplasm calcium metabolism. Also explains effect of stress, cortisol, sleep deprivation on neurons. Effects of cortisol are shown. Side effects of neuronal NOS (Nitric Oxide Synthase) are explained. Including combination with superoxide to form peroxynitrite. Peroxynitrite can damage mitochondria and the NMDA receptor. Excess cytoplasm calcium in the post synaptic neuron can activate Calpain. Calpain is a protease and can damage cellular proteins like the NaCa exchanger.

Mag deficiency is epidemic in meat eaters. The high nitrogen in the protein burns it all up but supplementing doesn’t work. Vicious cycle of potassium deficiency caused by supplementing mag and chronic dehydration.
