Talking TBI: Going Back to School
Marine Corps veteran Chris Lawrence sustained a traumatic brain injury (TBI) in 2007 while serving in Iraq. Shortly after, Lawrence found himself struggling with multiple symptoms, including memory issues.
In this video, Lawrence talks about his experience going back to school following his TBI diagnosis — specifically how the injury affected his learning and study habits — as well as the importance of setting frequent reminders throughout the day.
