Amber as host brings a unique perspective as she survived head injuries as an adult and as a child traumatic brain injury survivor. She was injured in an accident at 9 years old as a passenger and at 21 years old as a young woman. These two severe traumatic brain injuries give her a unique understanding of traumatic brain injury that few other survivors possess. As our newest board member, she and Kristin can give us insight into both childhood and adult TBI. We all have much to gain from Amber in the future.
